Hours will be 10 AM CST – 6 PM CST

TopBloc is a startup that provides fixed-time, fixed-price Workday deployment services and on-demand Workday support. We quickly and pragmatically deploy Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Financials business processes and technology, letting our customers focus on their business while they gain immediate value. Once live, we provide expertise and resources as needed to operate and augment the solution.

TopBloc’s proprietary technology includes SmartLoader, an automatic data extraction and conversion tool that is disrupting the Workday ecosystem.  As part of the IT Team, the System Administrator will be responsible for the day to day operations of TopBloc’s system hardware and software.
    Qualifications: 
    • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred
    • At least 1 year of system, network and/or application administration
    • Windows, OSX, and Linux system administration
    • Strong knowledge of encryption and secure transfer protocols
    • Advanced understanding of DNS, DHCP, SSH, SFTP, HTTP, TCP/IP and other common network protocols
    • Proficiency in navigation around the terminal/command line
    • Proficiency in using SSH and remote server management
    • Intrusion detection and prevention experience
    • Proficiency in one or more high-level scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to generate reports for management

    Responsibilities:

    • Configuring new Windows and OSX laptops
    • Onboarding new employees and introducing them to our systems and process
    • Configuring services and onboarding a new clients into our systems
    • Maintaining existing systems and assisting TopBloc employees with technical issues
    • Properly decommissioning old systems and services
